Q: What is the Eligibility Criteria for FE and SE?

A: Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate and Outside Maharashtra State Candidate for admission to First Year of degree courses in Engineering/Technology

a) Candidate should be an Indian.
b) He should have passed the H. Sc. (10+2 Std.) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
c) Candidate has to secure minimum 45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 40% marks i.e. not less than 120 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together.
d) The candidate has to secure a non zero score in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together in MHT CET syllabus.

Q I belong to ST caste in Madhya Pradesh. Can I get admission under ST Seats?

A:   The Backward Class candidate belonging to Maharashtra State having the Caste Certificate, Validity Certificate and         Non Creamy Layer Certificate(if applicable), issued by Competent Authority of Maharashtra are eligible to get the         benefit in Eligibility and Admission.

Q What is the eligibility for engineering admission in Maharashtra State?

A:   Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board       of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and       Mathematics
                         AND

Q What are criteria for merit list?

A:   Merit of all eligible Maharashtra State candidates will be based on the MT-CET 2013 score (out of 200 marks) only.

Q I am a child of Ex-Defense Service Personal domiciled of Maharashtra. How to apply for admission under Defense     Seats?

A:   The candidate has to submit the details for admission under Defence Seats at the time of submitting the Online        Application for Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The schedule shall be declared later on.

Q Is there a Hostel Facility available at MPGI Integrated Campus?

A: ME Admission –

Q: What is the Eligibility Criteria for ME?

A:   Eligibility Criteria
     Candidate should be an Indian National and who possess Bachelors degree or equivalent in the relevant field of      Engineering/Technology from an AICTE/MHRD approved institutions, as specified by the concerned University for which      admission is being sought to a particular Post graduate course/specialization, with at least 50 % Aggregate marks* (at      least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to      Maharashtra      State only)
                                OR
     Appeared** for the final year examination of Bachelors degree or equivalent in the relevant field of      Engineering/Technology from an AICTE/MHRD approved institutions, as specified by the concerned University for which      admission is being sought to a particular Post graduate course/specialization.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission through Centralized Admission Process( CAP)

     1. Basic educational qualification as specified above.

     2. Having valid GATE Score in respective qualifying branch

                                 OR

     2. Appeared and secured non-zero marks in the PGET-CET 2013 in respective qualifying branch.

     Note:- * - ‘Aggregate marks’ means the grand total of marks obtained by the candidate in subjects based on which the      class declaration is made in the particular University from which the candidate is passing the qualifying examination. The      percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be calculated based on the practice      followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the candidates are      awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the      procedure certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelor's degree. In case the      university/ institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be      established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100. In      case      the percentage of marks in aggregate comes in fraction then percentage of marks in aggregate shall be rounded      off e.g.      44.50-44.99 % shall be rounded to 45% and 44.01- 44.49 % shall be rounded to 44%marks.

     **- Candidates appeared for final year examination fulfilling the remaining eligibility criteria will be offered provisional      admission subject to the condition that they will pass the examination with the required percentage of marks on or      before 25th September 2013. If the candidate is failed and has applied for revaluation of the result in such cases the      admission to such candidate will be given on provisional basis subject to the condition that he/she will pass the      examination with the required percentage of marks on or before 25th September 2013. Undertaking from such      candidates shall be taken for forfeiting the right of admission and fees paid in case of not securing required percentage      of      marks in qualifying examination. In case, the candidate fails to produce the results of the final year examination on or      before 25th September 2013, then admission offered to such candidate will stand automatically cancelled and the fees      (tuition, development and other fees) paid by the candidate of the academic year 2013-14 will be forfeited.
